New York trained, Rebecca Bachar I.D.M.A is a Performer Teacher Choreographer Lecturer & Dance Historian of Isadora Duncan Dance and Movement studies, and Vedic Yoga has 50yrs dance experience, 21yrs teaching, holds a certificate in Isadora Duncan Studies and Isadora for Children, from the Isadora Duncan International Institute directed by Jeanne Bresciani M.A., I.M.A., Ph.D. Jeanne is the Artistic Director and Director of Education for IDII, a Fulbright Scholar, performs world wide and directs Isadora Programs on behalf of the New York University School of Education. Rebecca studied and performed w Jeanne for 5 yrs and has been dancing since age 3. She studied at the Milwaukee Ballet, and Modern dance, African, Middle-Eastern, and gymnastics. In addition, Rebecca studied music flute and cello. Rebecca Bachar has been practicing Isadora Duncan Dance for 22 yrs and performed in Greece, Albania, New York, Chicago, and Iowa, including the State Capital. Rebecca is the Director of TEMPLE STUDIO of FINE ART (Non-profit), The DUNCAN DANCE COMPANY, "Nature's Dance" Classes for Little Ones, "Irresistible Exercise and Isadora" for adults and teaches Vedic Yoga, Art and Music Appreciation.
